Kirstine Dale

Professor Kirstine Dale is Chief AI Officer at the Met Office, the UK’s national meteorological service, where she leads the responsible integration of artificial intelligence. Her work focuses on applying AI to real-world challenges, from advancing weather forecasting and climate science to strengthening national resilience. A Fellow of The Alan Turing Institute and Honorary Professor at the University of Exeter, Kirstine brings expertise across data science, entrepreneurship, innovation and public sector leadership. She is also a passionate advocate for diversity, inclusion and interdisciplinary collaboration as drivers of ethical AI adoption, innovation and lasting social impact.
